An archaeological site over one of the world's most ancient cities, and the most ancient city in the Americas. It is 1 hour inland by unsealed but adequate road. Peru's government recently formally opened it for tourism, shortly before its inscription into the UNESCO World Heritage list. Labelling & facilities are good once you get to the site.
